Samsung is yet to confirm any information regarding its speculated Galaxy S9 smartphone. There have been many leaks and speculations regarding the smartphone lately. Additional details about the Galaxy S9 smartphone have now shown up online. As noted by Forbes, numerous third-party accessory manufacturers have begun creating Galaxy S9 covers based on these leaked details.

One thing that can be gathered on the basis of this information is that the manufacturers are in agreement of expecting the South-Korean technology giant to launch the Galaxy S9 smartphone in the first quarter of 2018. The reports regarding accessory manufacturers creating Galaxy S9 covers began when Ghostek’s apparently ‘waterproof’ Nautical case showed up online sometime last week. The covers are available for pre-orders on its official website. Another report by Tommaso Sacco went on to suggest that Galaxy S9 smartphone cases had also shown up on Amazon as well. Over the last few days, the number of listings has increased. It appears that these third-party accessory manufacturers are willing to risk it all for upcoming covers.

What’s even stranger is that all the covers are depicting the same kind of elements in the Galaxy S9 family of smartphones. The common features include a dual-lens camera, the fingerprint sensor on the rear panel, an 18:9 aspect ratio and a completely bezel-less front panel. These features were present on Samsung’s Galaxy S8 line-up as well.

This is perceived with great disappointment amongst Samsung fans as they were expecting more from the South-Korean technology giant as far as this is concerned. There is still a high possibility that Samsung might end up changing the design of the device slightly, however, it remains to be seen exactly how different the S9 will look, in comparison to the S8 smartphone.
