The two hour water test. I completely submerge my Samsung Galaxy S7 in water for over two hours. This water test is a good indication that if you drop your phone in the toilet or run it through the washing machine you should still be okay.
The previous S6 did not come with an IP rating, however the S5 had a IP67 rating. Even with the IP67 rating on my S5 I swam as deep as 8 eight feet in salt water and recorded video and took photos while underwater with no problems. So I was confident this S7 would have no issues in 6 inches of water for two hours. Let alone that the S7 does not come with a removable back covering and usb flaps so there was no second guessing myself.
