This is a simple micro steam turbine that is being powered by a 2mm (0.08in) copper tubing which has a total length of 2.1m (6.9ft). You can see how it is coiled in the video @0:28. It’s fired by two mini pen blowtorches. Due to its size it’s missing critical parts like a check valve and an actual pump that must be driven from the turbine using appropriate gearing. I just can’t manufacture this type of devices due to the lack of equipment. It was a really fun project and i’m looking forward to my next one which i’m hoping to be a succesful micro axial flow steam turbine.
