Introducing Canon’s latest entry in the Cinema EOS line: the EOS C700! With an all-new modular design aimed at high-end cinema production, the C700 brings the power and flexibility expected in the A-Camera market. Featuring a Super35mm sensor that shoots up-to 4.5K, numerous recording options, and an upcoming RAW update, the C700 promises superb image and build quality.
Also featured is Canon’s XC-15 4K Camcorder. It builds on the idea behind the XC-10 in that it features both still capabilities and high quality 4K video on a 1″ sensor design.
Lastly, the cinema world is abuzz with “HDR”, or high dynamic range. HDR production brings a whole new way of shooting, monitoring, and mastering your video, so Canon’s just-announced DPV-2420, and DPV-1710 HDR displays bring color-accurate tools to professional filmmakers. They feature SMPTE 2084, HLG, Rec.2020 support, and more.
