Among the sea of big yellow Cat® machines at CONEXPO IN 2011 was a small white tractor nestled in Caterpillar’s Generations Park. Built in 1926, it is the world’s first 100% Caterpillar tractor produced shortly after the company was born. “It’s the first one, it’s the first Caterpillar,” says Matt Veerkamp, a Cat customer and owner of the first Cat tractor ever built. Take a look at the EXPO20 – it’s one of a kind – “And it runs like a top,” Veerkamp says.
