“Firefight:” A Nutnfancy Tactical .22 Drill04:33

Shoot a thousand rounds in one hour. With a literal truckload of guns, targets, ammo, LBE, and gear, here comes another Nutnfancy RunNGun adventure. This time: Tactical .22s! Unlike their centerfire counterparts, you can go crazy with the round counts without breaking your bank account. And that’s just what I had my shooters do: each run expends 132 rounds (!) as fast and accurately as possible. Each shooter takes a Tactical .22 and .22 pistol downrange to engage many Actiontarget.com steel plates at varying distances. Fast shots, timing, and lots of running find their way into the fun as usual here in TNP. This Nutnfancy Drill integrates the barricade for four stages of fire (supported strong side, unsupported window, prone, weak side), walking while shooting, engagements of AT Rimfire Dueling Tree (fun…use Nutnfancy 15% discount code…see sidebar at my Channel page youtube.com/nutnfancy!), and medium to longer range shots on steel from prone, kneeling, and standing positions. It was fun but entirely exhausting and each stage demanded lots of shooter concentration. Proctoring these shoots requires enormous amounts of work from me but they provide great data points (on all gear), recreation, and good training. Guns represented include: Sig 522 (100% reliable, even with Federal bulk ammo), Kel-Tec SU-22 (97% reliable), Bushmaster AR-15 CMMG .22 conversion (94% reliable), S&W M&P 15-22 MOE (98% reliable), Nutnfancy TAPCO 16″ barrel Ruger 10/22 (98% reliable), Sig P226LR (96% reliable with CCI Mini Mag), Buckmark Camper (100% reliable), and Ruger 22/45 Hunter (99% reliable). Reliability ratings are my subjective observations and most guns ran more affordable Federal bulk ammo for testing purposes. The FIREFIGHT Drill gives some insight into the testing protocol that goes on continually with all TNP reviewed weapons. It was another hard work but fun Nuntfancy RunNGun.
