I had to come up with a way to convert my Firebird Phanton into a Biplane after Jeff Martin, my friend and cameraman (AKA Winston51249 on YouTube ), challenged me “again” to make the Hobbyzone Firebird Phantom into a Biplane.

Here is how it went.

I doubled the Wing Area and made the Phantom glide for amazingly long times.

I can’t wait to fly it in the dark and also on the slopes when the wind is prevalent from the South.

This was an easy modification to do. You could do it too for approximately $10-15 for and extra wing and some 1/16th ” Carbon Fiber Rods.

Enjoy and Happy Flying
