The NEC Group held the “C&C User Forum & iEXPO 2008” for three days from November 11th at the Tokyo International Forum (Yurakucho). The theme of the forum was “Creating a human-centric, earth-friendly information society.”
To respond to today’s demands for measures to deal with environmental issues, NEC exhibited an eco-friendly power saving server.
Efforts were also made to maximize these merits by using the optimum hardware technology, virtualization technology, and platform control technology on a “rack” unit with priority on power supply efficiency.
NEC began selling the Express 5800 / ECO CENTER in May 2008.
