This video actually covers two main topics:
The “Big Blast Target Inflator” caps for regular bottles allow you to put pressurized air into cheap bottles. We used the thinnest type we could find and brought them up to about 120 psi. When you hit one of those with a crossbow bolt or a BB from a powerful slingshot, it goes off with a really, really loud boooom… great fun.

Also, the umbrella cannon was converted into a launcher for short, heavy steel rods… with 330 lb of a draw, it can shoot the heavy rods (1,8 lb = 800 grams) straight through a thick kitchen counter top board – sideways…
At the end of the video, you can see what happens when you ignore a ripped rubber band… the ammo shoots out way too early, destroying the weapon and causing a seriously dangerous situation. Such forces are not to be taken lightly.
