At the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan, Expedition 47-48 Soyuz Commander Alexey Ovchinin and Oleg Skripochka of Roscosmos and Flight Engineer Jeff Williams of NASA and their backups, Sergey Ryzhikov and Andrey Borisenko of Roscosmos and Shane Kimbrough of NASA participated in a variety of activities Mar. 3-14 as they prepared for the launch of Ovchinin, Williams and Skripochka to the International Space Station in the Soyuz TMA-20M spacecraft on Mar. 19, Kazakh time. The footage includes the crew’s arrival in Baikonur, their Soyuz fit checks in the Cosmodrome Integration Facility, the ceremonial Cosmonaut Hotel flag-raising ceremony, the crew’s traditional media day activities and other training activities.
