Exoskeletons aren’t sci-fi anymore: see record-setting snowmobiler Paul Thacker, who was paralyzed in 2010 from a training accident, walk again at CES 2014 using a robotic exoskeleton developed by Ekso Robotics. The company plans to get 1 million patients walking again by 2022. More from The Verge:
