Exceed RC F/A-18E Tiger Jet. Put a tiger in your tank!

Published on June 4, 2017

Testing the new Exceed RC Tiger.
The F18E Tiger Version RTF kit includes a ducted fan unit an in-runner Brushless motor, assembled and balanced. Easy to put together with regular hobby CA and will survive crashes that would send balsa and composite planes to the garbage can. This is simply the BEST LOOKING and MOST ECONOMICAL EDF in its class.

I had this plane assembled and ready to fly in less than 2 hours, (1 ½ hour longer than they claim it takes)
It has no un-wanted pitch tendencies in flight, when inverted and has favorable flight characteristics, including slow flight and easy to maintain landing approach even in cross winds.
The rudders could be added, via a linkage to the nose wheel steering servo, however, I flew mine without rudders and managed better than I thought.
When the battery runs low, the motor shuts down to about 25%, allowing a controlled landing, not a dead stick, which was very nice indeed.
I really like this plane and give it a Thumbs Up .
My only suggestion would be to offer this with 2.4Ghz technology.
Thanks for watching and happy flying.
