Dyson Vacuum VS Water – Extreme Test04:33

Your first thought might be that I am trying to destroy this vacuum. You may also think I am insane to try this, afterall, Dyson clearly states to never use this to suck up water. However, I have on many occasions used my Dyson (usually in emergencies, like an overflowed toilet, etc) to suck up water, and have never damaged it. You must be careful to avoid filling it too much. I actually went a little high in this test. Afterwards, wash and air dry all the components that have gotten wet to avoid mildew. This vacuum is at least 8 years old.

Definitely, only do this at your own risk. Dump the water before it gets too high, and afterwards, pop off the filter cover on the left side to ensure no water got into the foam filter. If you do not have a shop vac or something that can extract water quickly, if you have a spill, this may be an option for you when seconds count.
