Dyson machines are tested to breaking point. Dyson’s unforgiving test team try and find fault; paying attention to every last detail. Machines are subjected to months of repetitive and rigorous testing, a different rig for every part. DC41 ran 843 miles on a turntable rig. It takes 120 engineers 50,000 hours and 550 tests to be satisfied that it’s tough enough.
