Behind the scenes in Dyson’s cyclone laboratory. To capture microscopic particles like dust, mold and allergens, vacuums need a sealed air system – any leaks sap suction and can expel those particles right back out. Dyson cyclones capture more dirt and microscopic dust than any other and that’s why they are certified by the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America as asthma & allergy friendly™. Some other vacuums in the US boast HEPA “media”, but that doesn’t necessarily mean HEPA filtration. Dirty air may still escape.
