In this tutorial, I will be showing you how to download Google Play Music songs directly to your SD card. The app I’ll be using for this function also allows you to download songs from Play Music’s “All Access” library.
Rather than digging through complicated folder structures to find cached songs with obfuscated file names, Play Music Exporter lets rooted users easily transfer these files to their SD card for easy management. It even saves the files with proper names and ID3 tags, so you won’t even have to edit the files after you’ve exported them.
I’m testing it out on my Nexus 5, but this app will work for most other Android phones and tablets, too.
