Lisa Gade compares three 8″ Windows 8.1 tablets, the Dell Venue 8 Pro, Lenovo Miix 2 8 and the Toshiba Encore. All run on a 1.33GHz Intel Atom Bay Trail quad core CPU with 2 gigs of RAM and 32 or 64 gigs of storage. They ship with Windows 8.1 32 bit, and this is full Windows that’s compatible with desktop programs like iTunes and Photoshop. They have 8″, 1280 x 800 displays, dual band WiFi and Bluetooth. Prices range from $299 to $329.
