If there is a motto to this video, it is “Look over your shoulder and stay alert”, especially for the bad guys! In today’s case, being alert saved me and also I got one of the luckiest shots I have ever taken. But it was by an innocent and beautiful animal, not a bad guy! First of all, “racing a deer”, not knowing if he is going to jump in front of you (or over you), is exhilarating enough! But also knowing many cyclists have had collisions with deer makes it even more exciting. So enjoy this one and thanks so very kindly to those who risked their lives for our country when it was all ours. We may have to do it again….and soon! I may be 62 years young, but I will still fight for our freedom.
