The problem with many other vacuums is that the cleanerhead is set at a fixed height, no matter the floor type it’s cleaning. On hard floors, this leaves a pronounced gap between the vacuum and the floor, causing valuable suction power to be lost.
At Dyson, that won’t do. Stephen Courtney, Head of Product Innovation, explains how the self-adjusting soleplate on DC65 means it will maintain a tight seal on every surface, and suction will never be lost on crevices, or while adjusting between floor types.
