TDK exhibited a booth based on the theme of “Pursuing Energy Conservation through Materials and Process Technology” at CEATEC JAPAN held at the Makuhari Messe convention center.
At its booth, TDK exhibited an eco home that “produces, stores, converts, and uses” eco energy and DC powered products. The home featured a combination of clean energy sources including TDK’s soft magnetic metal materials, dye-sensitized solar cells, high-efficiency battery charging systems, and large capacity lithium-ion batteries, and the DC powered products directly and efficiently utilized DC current without converting the eco energy obtained from DC current to AC current.
TDK intends to continue proposing new products and technology that can be used in the near future in DC powered eco homes to minimize AC/DC conversion losses.
