This was taken 1.35 miles off coast in Pacifica/Daly City, California where I live.
This is a humpback whale. Every year around May to June humpback whales migrate through California coast and hundreds of whales can be seen blowing air. However, actually getting close-up footage of whales with a drone is nearly impossible as they only come up to the surface every 5 minutes. The only way you can get footage is when they come up to the surface to feed, which isn’t too often.
In this footage, I got really lucky as the angry whale came up to surface for about 10 minutes and continuously slapped his tail before disappearing into the deep ocean.
