The AIR 540 is Corsair’s latest addition to the Carbide series, with specific focus on airflow. This dual chamber design separates active and passive cooled components for increased air penetration, which is quite impressive in this case. The PSU, optical drives and an SSD cage are moved to the second chamber, making the case less tall but unconventionally wide. The main chamber utilizes 2 hot-swap 3.5″ drive bays at the bottom of the case, getting rid of the need for a conventional HDD cage, thus directing front airflow towards the main components. Watch our full review of the AIR 540 to see how it handles our test system and let us know how you would optimize the space in the rear chamber.
