Easiest Way to retract a copyright strike on your YouTube channel/account. I just got my 3rd copyright strike in the past 1.5 years on several youtube accounts. When you receive a strike you have two options. Either counter the notification or request a retraction. All three times I requested a retraction. I simply emailed the claimant directly (You can message them via youtube as well) which you can find their email in the details page. Be nice in the email and hopefully they will be willing to retract (take away that infringement claim against you).
This last strike I got was fixed in less then 24 hours and my account is back in good standing. Remember a copyright strike is pretty serious and you want to try to get this resolved asap because if you happen to get 3 strikes within 3 months good chance your Youtube account will be banned forever!
