Sentinel-5P will soon join the other Copernicus Sentinel satellites in orbit. Copernicus is the world’s largest environmental monitoring programme, and is operated by ESA and the European Commission.
With Sentinel-5P, Copernicus will have its first satellite dedicated to the monitoring of atmospheric chemistry. These measurements are important to observe air pollution and climate change.
