CNN Heroes: Estella Pyfrom’s Brilliant Bus

After a long career in teaching, Estella Pyfrom cashed in her life savings and bought a bus. She outfitted this bus with computers and Internet access and started visiting under-served schools and community centers in the hopes of narrowing the digital divide in her neighborhood.
Today, Estella’s Brilliant Bus has helped more than 60,000 children gain access to technology and envision a bigger, brighter future for themselves. Estella was named a CNN Hero for her work that has changed the lives of thousands of families.
