In this video we take a first look a the 9mm Guard from CMMG. The Guard series represents a new breed of pistol caliber carbines in that utilize a new blowback recoil system referred to as “radially delayed.” Think MP5 meets AR-15, lighter weight BCG equals lighter felt recoil and this delayed blowback system is extremely quiet at the ear with a suppressor, much like a standard MP5 which to many is king of the hill when it comes to 9mm PCCs.
