Climb to Pikes Peak on a Cogwheel Train.

Many people never see much of the country they live in.

I like to visit places like this when I can.

Pikes Peak towers over Manitou Springs, a small 60s style town at the base of the Rocky Mountains.

Today it was chilly, for a May day.

Some of the green pictures were taken by my Daughter last September.

The donuts they make at the top are unbelievable and have a secret formula like KFC.
They are world famous.

I think it is because of the lack of oxygen.

I must say, it was very difficult to breathe and just walking 50 steps really got me huffing and puffing, especially at my age.

It was a great time and fun to do.

I say “see all you can while you still can, cause when you cant, you can always look back at videos like this or pictures and remember the good old days.”

Remember, “Someday, today will be a good old day!”
