2013-02-07 – On February 7, 2013, the Canadian Space Agency hosted over 30 “space tweeps” at its headquarters for a unique tweetup event during which Canadian astronaut Chris Hadfield had a phone conversation with Canadian actor William Shatner, known for his role of Captain Kirk in the Star Trek tv series.
The event started with a short presentation from Canadian astronaut Jeremy Hansen followed by the conversation between Hadfield and Shatner, and a short Q&A session between Hadfield and space tweeps.
