On the Isle of Anglesey in a remote corner of northwest Wales, there’s a village with a name that’s so ridiculously long and stuffed with l’s and y’s that even the majority of Welsh people might think twice before attempting to say it out loud.

The full name of that village is “Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch,” and with a whopping 58 letters it’s the longest place name in Europe.
