The Taurus 709 actually did very well in testing. That despite the spotty track record of Taurus in TNP; the Millenium G2 broke in testing for instance. But the fast selling 709 might turn the tide: it’s trim, accurate, reliablie, and cheap. Quirks are here and I cover them but they don’t drag down an otherwise competent gun design.
