I am comparing the auto focus & focusing motor noise on both my Canon 50mm f1.8 and Sigma 18-35mm f1.8 lens on my Canon Rebel T6i (750D). My viewfinder is open and i am using my built-in mic. You can definitely hear the motor noise on both of them pretty easily. I think the Canon is louder as well. Whats your observation? This is my first DSLR. What external mic do you recommend? Does the auto focus hesitate on all other DSLRs?
