Slow motion shows us so much. In 1873 Edward Muybridge had photographed a horse, owned by then California Governor Leland Stanford. Muybridge’s photographs Froze the horse in mid stride showing all 4 feet in the air..
Word of this spread around the world and started the studies of motion in men and animals over the years since. I still enjoy some of the old clips.
