Here at The Slingshot Channel, we thought that a Bola might be a good method for that. Of course we had to make the Bola Launcher with rubber bands as a power source.
Soo how the twin slingshot crossbow can shoot two heavy steel blocks (3 oz each), connected by a piece of paracord! The bola style wrap around tying works like a charm.
Of course the weapon can also double up as a bad ass two shot bolt launcher (when the two crossbows are set up in a parallel fashion).
BTW, a bola launcher was obviously also used in Jurassic Park… the design is at least partially similar.
