[Note: this review was filmed in May 2017, well before MBM obviously. Note our discussion of not waiting to buy things for your weapon systems which was prophetic. Now another buying panic is taking place. Watch my response video to this event on B Channel

The Black Rain Scout or BRO AR-15 holds much promise: perfectly sized forend, super cool coatings applied correctly, an effective in house muzzle brake, and very lightweight. All current models such as the American Flag version, Battleworn, BRO Comp3G, BRO Predator, and BRO Scout [this one] are discussed and shown. It’s an expensive option and as such it is appropriate to expect perfection at this price point. In some ways we were impressed with the BRO Scout and in others, surprisingly disappointed. You won’t believe what came loose during firing for instance. Also accuracy was not impressive [possibly related to the first issue]. We won’t condemn the line for this one example. If consistent quality control can be applied at BRO the guns should be pretty excellent for the good guys who need them.

The AWESOME Aero Precision 30mm lightweight AR-15 optics mount, it’s all we buy now:
