spent a very relaxing day with my son karl and my better half at the Suffolk owl sanctuary / birds of prey centre in stonham barns – stonham aspal in Suffolk ip14 6at,

the meerkats were more interested in the buzzard thermaling high above them than the fifty people watching them at feeding time, and the birds and owls (over 80 of them) are amazing to watch so close up in the displays – they have three flying displays and two meet the meerkat displays in each day,

so if your lost for something to do then check out their website for dates and times and pop along for a very entertaining day out,
there is also a play park for the children to burn themselves out in,

ps – they also have a shopping boulevard with craft and gift shops etc for your better halves to look around !
