This tin toy is actually a small siren to fit on your bicycle. No batteries, just crank the lever, and you get a realistic siren noise. I suppose the only danger is that instead of getting out of the way when they hear a bicycle bell, pedestrians will simply stop in their tracks and turn round to see where the siren noise is coming from!
