Please Like, Favorite and Subscribe! – It’s been a few months since I’ve played iRacing and a lot of you have been requesting that I get back on the sim so tonight I did just that. I jumped on the Obutto R3volution with T500RS and Sparco Mod with my Fanatec Clubsport V2 pedals and TH8 Thrustmaster shifter and got business done. I do a POV view with the camera right behind my head so you can see what I see and also have a webcam pointed at my face so you can see my reactions. I did pretty good in practice but I had one pretty epic wreck on lap 14 of the race but still managed to pit my car even though it was in the craziest shape ever!
This race took place at 9:00pm @ Charlotte Motor Speedway in the Street Stock Series. I have not put a custom skin on my car yet but I will do that before the next race but I was happy to report I didn’t wreck anyone or get anyone calling me explitives during the race and I count that as a victory. I come in 11th place and get a few points for my license which is fantastic despite the huge indecent!
I love my racing simulator and consider it to be one of the best ones I’ve ever used short of a $20+ k motion platform based simulator. It also is very easy to convert back into a regular work area so I don’t have to have room for a dedicated simulator and work/game station.
