Audio-Technica ATH-AD700X open ear Headphones unboxing & test drive w/ oDAC
My friend Tyler at Mayflower Electronics ( was telling me that these Audio-Technica ATH-AD700X open ear headphones are an awesome well balanced headphone for the price and it peaked my interested so I picked up a pair from Amazon.
I really like this headphones but they are not good for deep bass. If you’re looking for something to beat up the side of your head with sick Dubstep drops these are not your headphones. But if you like music that is heavy in mid & treble you will love these. Plus you would have a hard time finding a more light weight comfortable headphone for the money.
If you have a head smaller then a ‘L’ baseball cap you might want to avoid these since there is no tilt in adjustment on the side cans so they will hit your ears at an angle if you have a smaller head. If you have a 2xl+ head I think these would fit perfectly!
These headphones have a fantastic sound stage and work great with Razer Surround to produce a 7.1 positional audio experience in games. I tried with with BF4 for several hours and I was impressed with the sound stage.
