NASA Astronaut Scott Tingle shares his inspiration for his career as an astronaut. On Sunday, Dec. 17, 2017, Tingle will launch to the International Space Station aboard a Soyuz vehicle at 2:21 a.m. ET (1:21 p.m. Baikonur time) from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan. This will be his first spaceflight.
