This amazing shape was created by nature, actually 3mil plastic and gravity.
22 sq ft collection area 22 x 144 (inches) =3168 sq inches x 1 inch of rain = 3168 sq inches of rain.
1 US Gallon = 231 sq inches of water, 3168 divided by 231 = 13.72 gallons per inch of rain.
14 inches of rain over the few day period = 14 x 13.72= 192 gallons.
192 gallons x 8.3 (pounds of a gallon of water) = 1593 pounds.
Since it developed a hole before I could measure, I went with the safe guess of 70 gallons.
192 is hard to believe.
