Apple released the Apple Digital AV Adapter to coincide with the release of iPad 2. The adapter brings HDMI connectivity to iPad 1 & 2, iPod Touch 4G, and iPhone 4. Only the iPad 2 permits “Mirroring”, which allows users to see the iPad screen directly displayed on the attached monitor. You can use adapters to convert the HDMI output if you require a different connection type. Take a look at my video for a full walkthrough and demo of its capabilities.
