AMD’s new cards are the hottest cards for best price to performance ratio. They feature the same GCN architecture as last generation, however with some compelling new features and aggressive pricing. This latest generation features trueaudio which is hardware accelerated sound which requires less CPU overhead and provides better environmental immersive experiences. Finally the Mantle API is a game-changer (literally) as it allows console-level optimizations to bypass the normal layers in desktop gaming.
