The camera angles and zoom really do not do this shot much justice as I was just hoping to film the slugs flying past the doll- at best. I did not expect him to hit the doll muchless get a headshot on it. I felt it necessary to fully explain this shot to put everything into perspective and why this shot was so unusual. By all standards he should never have hit the thing. Many people might not appreciate this shot, it being “only” 30 yards away. The front bead-type sight on this shotgun probably appeared about 10 times larger than the head.
We used 2 Casio EXF1 Pro high speed cameras operating at 600 FPS to film the slow motion segments of this.
