Non-Stop! How does that work?
S.C.A.T is an acronym, not a word.
For those that don’t care about the wonderful technology and only like to comment that the name has a different meaning, remember the name is the least thing to consider, and could easily be changed.
Please comment constructively on the idea and technology, not that S.C.A.T. means something else to you.
If the name is the only fault you can find with it, then it must be a good idea to you.
Here is what it means this to us.
S.C.A.T. ( Shuttle Connected Advanced Transit) was developed from E-3 technology.

It features synergistic engineering solutions for:
Energy
Economy
&
Ecology.
It is an advanced transportation System that uses NON STOP TRAINS, and a fleet of connecting cars (Shuttles), which ferry passengers between the stations and the trains.

There aren’t many other alternatives to gridlock and it seems to be getting worse. The costs to build this would be less than any other venue we have studied and we already own the roadway land.
The only other choice is to do nothing!
155,000 miles tire wear, nitrogen filled, pressure sensors keep tires in check and blowouts would be unlikely with today’s technology, running on Carbon Fibre wheels that can support the train in unlikely tire failure.
The cars are electrically powered by middle rail on track.
Everything has automated redundancy built in with Aircraft Grade parts and reliability.
Unlikely failures would be handled by the emergency trucks.
Reliability would be on the same page as the automated “Bart System” in San Fransisco, now running over 50 years at 80 mph totally automated!
Also the train stations are small compared to real trains and need to be only about 100 feet long, which is cheaper.
As a result, S.C.A.T solves the inefficiency of the stop and start operations that plague the transit industry.
This would also create lots of jobs in every state, thus helping our economy.
Bud Parriott developed this back in the days when we weren’t so worried about gas prices or grid-lock, and when no government agency wanted to begin the process, no matter how logical it seemed.
But today, it seems that this system would be a welcome addition to our economy and life style, and the existing technology could be easily adapted.
My hat is off to Bud for his extremely detailed blueprints, drawings, documents, and models. He did years of research on this project from worldwide perspectives.
He is a meticulous thinker and ingenious inventor. He is also a master model maker for sure and I wish him all the success in the world.
