More than 80 “coders” and coaches representing 21 Georgia high school teams descended on the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company’s facilities in Marietta, Georgia, Nov. 8, for the site’s first “Code Quest” computer programming competition. This major STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) outreach event was supported by more than 65 Lockheed Martin volunteers. The Aeronautics Co. plans to hold Code Quest competitions again in 2015 at its Marietta and Fort Worth, Texas, operations.
