Tiger is a chain of shops in Europe that sell a range of gimmicky stuff for the home. I saw they had some fairly stylish looking USB chargers in a range of colours, and bought one to assess for construction quality.
It’s actually pretty good. There’s some basic filtering on both the mains input and the DC output, and the separation and transformer design looks quite acceptable for this style of device.
I ended up buying a couple more, as USB chargers are a very useful power supply to have. Especially if they are actually safe and have a stable output like these seem to have.
