Acer’s New ‘Spin 7’ 2-in-1 Supports Sub-6 And mmWave 5G

Published on September 4, 2020

Acer has announced its Spin 7 2-in-1 (convertible laptop) which is one of the first PCs to use Qualcomm’s 2nd- gen Snapdragon 8cx. The convertible supports both mmWave and sub-6 5G networks.

The Acer Spin 7 uses a 360-degree hinge, so, like the Lenovo Yoga series, it can be folded all the way over into tablet mode. It features a Gorilla Glass screen like your phone, and the company says that the battery will last for a full 24 hours on a charge. While pricing has not yet been revealed, its something to look forward to if you are wanting to use 5G without depending on a phone.
