Samsung Notebook 9 to take on Microsoft Surface, Apple MacBook

Samsung has officially taken the wraps off its refreshed line-up of Notebook 9 laptops on Thursday, 14th December 2017. The latest range consists of three new versions of Samsung Notebook 9 models. The designs on all the three are somewhat similar to their predecessors, which were launched sometime earlier this year. Additional features and a few upgraded specifications are what helps the latest line-up of Notebook 9 laptops genuinely stand out.

According to BGR, the Samsung Notebook 9 Pen comes equipped with an eighth-generation Intel Core i7. On the storage front, the device offers 16GB of RAM along with 512GB of internal storage. The laptop’s display is integrated with Intel HD Graphics. Furthermore, the invention also sports an array of 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution.

One can flip it around and turn it into a tablet. On the connectivity front, the device offers USB-C port, a USB 3.0 port and an HDMI port. The other two Notebook 9 standard models feature a 15-inch and a 13-inch display. They too are powered by Intel’s 8th-generation Core i7 processor.

Storage wise, the device packs 16GB of RAM along with 1TB of SSD storage. NVIDIA GeForce MX150 powers the 15-inch model for gaming enthusiasts. On the connectivity front, both the devices offer two USB 3.0 ports, an HDMI port and a USB-C port.

According to Samsung, the main highlight of the laptops is that the particular 75Wh Hexacell powers them. The company describes it as being the “largest and most powerful battery placed inside a notebook.” They, however, haven’t made any announcements regarding the availability or pricing of the devices. They are expected to be made available for sale sometime next year.
