Have you ever seen 6,000 Ethiopians singing a Chinese communist anthem? Well, you’re looking at it.

This video was recorded near Ethiopia’s capital of Addis Ababa in a factory owned by the Huajian Group, the biggest shoe manufacturer in the world.

China is in the process of moving factories to Africa in order to cut costs, maintain profitability, and expand the nation’s global influence through the application of its strict management model.

Currently, there are 280 Chinese companies operating in Ethiopia, with 100 more on the way.

Is it time to learn Chinese and sing along?
