This slime trail was over 50 feet in length and the slug continued on its path for another hour before disappearing into leaves. Mucus polymer that is rich in hyaluronic acid and antioxidants. Snail and slug goo is used in cosmetics, was used in ancient times internally for various conditions and is currently being researched as a medical wound adhesive.
